Modified Reverse Scramble Format:
In a typical scramble, members of a team tee off, then choose the best of the tee shots, and all team members then play their second shots from the location of that best drive. The best of the second shots is selected, and so on, until the ball is holed.
As you might guess, a reverse scramble is, well, the reverse of that: the worst of the tee balls is chosen, and that's where the second shot is played.
The worst of the second shots is chosen, and the third stroke is played from that location; and so on, until the ball is on the green.
In the modified version, once one ball is on the green the players will then play a traditional scramble selecting the best shot each time. This will help to speed up play and keep scores from sky rocketing.
There will also be a double bogey max per hole.
Payment for the event will be due at registration on the day of the event.
